Emma (she/they) is a chiropractic intern from the University of Western States. She has been a chiropractic assistant for 10 years and has worked in her parents’ chiropractic clinic her entire adult life. Her passion lies in increasing access to healthcare for vulnerable communities, which is why she started the Queer and Allies Club at her university and has advocated for major structural changes at her school’s free clinic.
Emma is drawn to helping people with complex conditions like POTS, autoimmune disorders, hypermobility and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), long-COVID, fibromyalgia, Epstein-Barr, and chronic pain. She has POTS and hypermobility herself, and Emma has many people in her life with hEDS. She hopes to connect with people wanting support in becoming more active, more calm, and more joyful about life while managing their chronic pain.
